Well, to be honest with you guys - I'm not 100% up-to-date on who's going to represent Indonesia in this year Olympic but there is an Indonesian sports star that I know he's going to olympic and he's really cute ( I think...). His name is Taufik Hidayat, and he's in Badminton.

omg that opening ceremony was awesome! i very much liked that drummer dude at the start. i wish i was there. ah nothing like a big cheese sporting event to give me goosebumps. looking forward to it all! forza greece!
i love the bit where all the athletes come out, i dont know why, it's great. but the japanese ladies outfits were a little bit hideous. i loved the pyrotechnics, they were fantastic. ah well looking forward to all the gymnastics and track and field events, they are my favourites. and swimming!

Yep, watched it too. I liked that dude who ran hitting tapes which symbolized previous games then fell down when it wasn't held for the first time and stopped for the second. The torch was huge! Our commentators were horrible thou, kept talking of all the greek philosophers duh. Oh Bjork was there and performed, I kinda like her, she's weird. Can't remember Japanese outfits, but I thought Bazil's were bad. I spotted a hot german guy when they were coming out, also one from Poland. Not really liking gymnastics, but I wanna see track and field, swimming and basketball Oh and btw, they told us Indonesia is the only country of all that isn't gonna broadcast olympic games in their country Edit: I just saw I've improved from new member to junior! YAY for me! Ah no, my posts are usually short and I don't really say much, just post short crappy messages saying yes or no.

well, day 5 and team GB now have a grand total of 1 silver and 2 bronze, congrats. the silver was syncronised diving, which i think is the most random thing, and the bronze were canoeing (was watching this this morning, she only won cause a french woman got penalties so lost first spot), and swimming, this cute scouser called stephen parry. on sunday this british woman jumped into the pool to warm up and gashed both of her legs on a camera, she still tried the race but came last, and she was in tears when they interviewed her. i did feel sorry for her but oh well. where there's a blame there's a claim, she could sue athens for potential loss of earnings.
weightlifting has been very entertaining, with some turkish guy shorter than me (ie very short) lifting weights more than twice as heavy as me, and the butch women weightlifters always provide amusement in my house. i watched the basketball match between greece and USA and loved it, i wish they would show basketball more in this country, but it isnt popular at all. and it's so annoying how the commentators go on about women's beach volleyball and how easy on the eye the players are, fair enough, but the sport is so boring to watch! too much coverage. i will continue my shallow admiration for the aesthetic value of footballlers as long as this beach volleyball nonsense continues.
the BBC who are covering the games here have a wonderful opening title sequence for the games with great music. actually their euro 2004 titles were beautiful as well, almost more entertaining than the actual sports.

I'm lovin olympics. I guess our basketballers is the only hope for a medal for us coz everybody else flops, our cyclists floped, swimmers as well, only one dude managed to get into tomorrow's finals of 200m complex race and that's considered good result. When do track and fields start? Our discus thrower is another candidate for a medal, but that's all. Anyway, I like track and field stuff a lot, wanna see it. Oh I think it was Sunday when basketball matches started and Spain played... damn, I don't even remember who! And Gasol had a bad nosebleed, dunno if he had broken his nose, but it was serious, they showed him on a bench covering nose with a towel it was red of blood and I went "oh no please, stop it! I'm gonna cry." I have always been in love with Gasol. I wish he would go to another NBA club as Grizzles are a bit shit. There was also another guy, Iker Iturbe, I found it nice he has Geeker's name Oh, haven't seen any of synchronized diving, but I doubt it would keep me excited. Tennis is also too boring for me to watch. AND BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOO!! Dunno, saw women in the morning and it was boring as hell, thought maybe men would be more beautiful to my eyes. I thought I was gonna explode when they said this sport was added to olympics after Barcelona as a much promising sport. jaja. Ast, if you happen to get a basketball match with lithuanian team playing and if you don't have anything better to do, watch it. We have some nice dudes in the team ;D

i think all; the track and field starts next week, cannae wait. GB won 3 more medals today, two were on a technicality and penalties to other contestants, but never mind. archery, equestrian stuff and canoes. the mixed badminton double team are trhough to the final and have a good shot at gold, id like them to win it. i do believe spain still only has one medal. i love tennis nom! but federer, , ah knocked out early. i love him. i wish we were married.

I think track and field starts tomorrow, which is great Watched spaniards playing basketball again today. Blah, it's not enough I'm obsessed with footballers, I love the basketballers too. Bad day for Gasol, but I guess he was just tired after Argentina match. Does anyone know those short clips of celebrities talking about the games? Don't know how to call them, I remember only Avril Lavigne and Andrea Bocelli. I thought it was nice how the latter babbles and at the end says "the strongest muscle is the heart". I am pathetic. FORCA Lithuania tonight, we are plaing Greece tonight at basketball. May the best win.

I prefer the winter olympics, more sports interest me in those than the summer olympics.
I usually get into the "spirit" of summer ones shortly after they start but not this time. I still couldn't care less.
I basically saw the 400m and 200m freestyle swimming events. I've been watching some indoor volleyball, since I don't get any coverage of that outside the olympics. The Brazil-Italy match was very entertaining.
Oh, and I saw the female badminton's singles gold medal match early this morning between a Chinese (winner) and an Indonesian-born Dutch. According to the commentator, the Indonesian Federation kicked her out because she married a Dutch dude and moved to Holland. And badminton players take offense when we call the thingy a "birdie". Forgot the technical name of it.

Am I the only one who finds beach volleyball to be a snooze fest?
I know it's hard and those folks are very good at it but what's good about having rallies that lasts 2 seonds? Could add some players to make it more exciting, no?
And since they force the ladies to wear those stupid bikinies + can't even wear a tank top, force the blokes to play shirtless. Sexist bastards.

Yep vicky, that's him and there's one more guy from indonesia, who also will be in semi final... hopefully they both will win... Stef, about Mia Audina (indonesian female badminton player), it's not true that the Indonesian federation kicked her out, after she got married she moved to holland, and the IBF still wants her to play for us (we need her for uber cup and all england) but she didn't want too am i the one who thinks ian thorpe is cute?
