Argh we lost basketball yesterday Fucking olympic semi-finals!! We had bronze medals in Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney. Let's keep the tradition. We have to beat Americans today. Agh Italy was brilliant yesterday Well yay for Argentina! Oh I wish Spain was in the final that would be better anyway. Yes, Ast, you should do that!! This is like the first picture you get on google of him, wtf is he crying in it? However, very cute boy I think it's called equestrianism. When I see that word I can remember, but I never know how to spell it. I'm gonna download that video and will tell ya what I think about it. I can't take the fact Olympics will be closed tomorrow And all the stuff they show now are finals which is quite depressing for me. Don't ask me why. I dunno. Maybe coz it makes me realise I will soon have to say goodbye to all those sports. I don't make any sense. Oh anyway, have to go now and watch football men's final. Well to be honest I didn't see any of football in Athens, not sure I'm gonna like it. But I should, it's football hey!

Argies beat Paraguay in football. Well yeah they were better, but our commentator must have a dislike for Paraguay coz he kept dissing them all the time. And Iraq sensationally got 4th place jeje. Bronze for Italy. I have no idea how Spain did I remember they were 3rd in Sydney. Nah, olympic football is not half as exciting as euro or world cups or CL.

nom i looked up that freixa pic on google and i think it said that was the world championship final last year where they lost to germany, hence the tears. lookin good thou.
well, i have officially entered a period of mourning at the ending of the olimpics. saw the bBall USA-Lithuania nom, it was heartbreaking, they so did not deserve that bronze. was not displeased at argentina winning the footie and basketball. i kind of like argentina as a country. i think it has something to do with evita.
the hero of team GB was the lovely kelly holmes, who won gold in the 800 and 1500 metres. she's really cute. 30 medals for britain in all, not bad.
the closing ceremony had me in stitches, especially when eurovision star sakis slipped. it was all very kitsch and cheesy, i loved it. and one woman sang one of my favourite songs, dinata dinata. ah i miss it so much. it feels like years ago.
RIP Athens 2004, it was a good one.

Have to say this was my fav thread from the forum! It will be dead now that the olympics has ended Yeah, Ast, we screwed up basketball. Lots of people cried when we lost to Italy, for some reason I did not, but I was deeply upset. Didn't feel VERY bad when we lost to USA, coz I guess we rule anyway!!! There is always next olympic games and next and next. Had a nice sportsmen reception on Monday, I could almost cry. People had banners saying "you're our gold", "you're the best in our hearts" and so on, apparently for our basketballers and that was very nice. Didn't expect my nationals to take it all so fast. I quite like Argentina too, but I supported Paraguay in footie somehow. They said argentina hadn't had gold in olympics since 1952 or smth. And then they won two at two popularest sports in two days! Didn't watch the whole closing ceremony, coz I was too sad about it being closed, plus they showed last part of "my big, fat and abnoxious fiance" (if anyone knows it) on other channel. I should have watched it though Did I miss Sakis?? did he slip? Oh no. shame on me. And I missed the repetition too. What can I say more... See you in Beijing!
