Vieri linked with Reds Liverpool are reportedly keen to boost their striking options by signing Inter Milan's Italy international ace Christian Vieri this summer. The Reds have been beset by a series of injury problems this season, with Djibril Cisse still laid off and Milan Baros, Neil Mellor and now Fernando Morientes also affected at various stages. A move for Vieri would certainly improve the Anfield attack and give Rafael Benitez an enviable group of forwards. The 31-year-old, who has scored 22 goals in 44 appearances for his country, has only one year left to run on his current deal with the nerazzurri and is no longer first choice under Roberto Mancini He could therefore be available for a bargain fee considering his impressive goalscoring record for Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Lazio and Inter. Some reports indicate Reds officials have already made enquiries about Vieri, who would surely adapt well to the physical nature of the Premiership. source: yahoo sports I don't think thats a good news
