TEN stars to be offloaded by Real Madrid

Real Madrid are set for a major clearout following Florentino Perez's resignation as president this week.

DiarioSport says no less than TEN senior players will be sold at the end of the season as part of an overhaul by new president Fernando Martin.

Zinedine Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Antonio Cassano, Michel Salgado and Ronaldo will headline the departures. Also to be shown the door will be Jon Woodgate, Ivan Helguera, Thomas Gravesen and Pablo Garcia.

Home-grown players Raul Bravo and Oscar Minambres will be among a shortlist also allowed to move on in the summer.

New president Martin already has his hit-list drawn up and save winning the Champions League, a massive changeover of players will happen at the end of this season.

Gravesen - i like him because he seems to work really hard but he's too slow he should leave for his better future.

I watch the match today. Yes, Real need big changes but it will be sad seeing Roberto Carlos or Zidane leaving...Anyway, Raul was so invisible today, I truly forgot, he was playing till the moment he tried to score in the second half.

You must realy hate Ronaldo but he is better then Raul. I hate to say this but i rather see Raul go then Ronaldo. Roberto Carlos should also stay, he is like a Cafu at Milan but on the left side. His age doesn't show, he still one the best left backs in the world... if not the best. Selling him right now would be dumb.

I think we should get 1 or 2 world class defenders out there (i dont know which to say), Adriano from inter, and Ballack from Bayern would be great.

We should sell or loan or kick them out; Pablo Garcia and Robinho, they are both useless... and Zidane is just too old now. Oh and Diogo too.... why we need him when we already have Salgado and Cicinho?
