Figo set for Inter switch Spanish media has reported Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo has agreed to sign with Inter Milan. Radio Marca claims the 32-year-old will travel to Milan on Friday to undergo a medical and sign a two-year deal with the Serie A club. The contract is reportedly worth 4.5 million euro per season. Figo had been given permission to enter into talks with other clubs after he fell out with Real coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo over his lack of time on the pitch. The Portugese international joined Real in 2000 for an unprecedented 56 million euro. The club was forced to pay such a substantial sum as it had to buy out Figo's contract with Barcelona. He helped Real to the league title in his first season and played an important part in its victories at the 2002 European Cup and the 2003 Spanish championship. If Figo does sign for Inter, he will be the fourth player to join the Serie A side from Real in the past 12 months. Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso joined Inter last year and compatriots Santiago Solari and Walter Samuel have signed in recent weeks. source: Sportal

Gracias Luís y mucha suerte con el Inter Milan! I think it's the best solution for both sides. I know, he deserved better but he contributed a lot for madrid and it seems madrid very ungrateful by letting him go Figo first match with inter against juventus on august 20 (italian super cup). I'll watch it for sure
