Did series 7 come right after Doctor Who Season 7 dvd or did they have some sort of special in between Sons of Anarchy Season 5 dvd set'? They went straight from Christopher eccleston to David Tennant. The Parting of the Boardwalk Empire 3 dvd for sale was a three part series where you see him regenerate. If you mean going from Tennant as the doctor to The Walking Dead Season 3 dvd, it was abrupt but there's an episode that's not included in the regular series. I believe it was Waters of Mars. You don't get to see the Bones Seasons 8 dvd box set transform into the new doctor of current.
