I was hooked The Office DVDon this series after my wife and daughter were reduced to hysteria in a plane flight while watching an episode. I had seen the Brit version, but never really succeeded in it, I found a couple of times I saw Ricky Gervias version "that was a little too caustic to touch almost grid. The U.S. versionCSI: Las Vegas DVD only looks a little smoother.The writing is very clever, and, interestingly, many of the polls: BJ Novak (Ryan, temp), Mindy Kaling (Kelly ditz) and Paul Lieberstein (Toby, the HR guy-dog) are the writers and producers of the show time to much. Clearly, a castLost DVD of great talent.The first round takes a little time to get signs in place, but it is worth buying, although the later series are better.The aspect I like is that the authors rounded the characters, especially in the series later. Even Dwight gets an occasional win, and sometimes will act as a human. This softening of the characters which makes them less one-dimensional and pathos of humor isHow I Met Your Mother DVD funnier when it happens. There are even cases where they get up for each other, when Jim told Michael that if he really wants, "You're a good boss boss ... well ..." .Perhaps the U.S. version is a little 'less angular than the UK One Tree Hill DVDversion, but for me, I like it. In any case, there needs to be one of taste, you can get both. They are both good, and do not need to compare a value with a really good price.
