right, i am moving into a new house when i go back to uni with seven of my friends in september. when we went to see the house for the first time in january there was one room paintied beautifully in shades of pink, and this is the room i got when we dre straws. i was happy with this cause my room at home is pink so i could just kind of transfer accessories and blah blah. but we went up to the house a couple of weeks back to sort out some stuff, i opened the door and shock horror, the walls had been painted a disgusting bland magnolia colour, because apparently there was a leak or something. so, im bored of pink now and wonder what colour i should do my room in now? it is a really really big square room, it has a double bed, a large desk and chest of drawers and a pretty big wardrobe, and it still has loads of floorspace, there is a huge window and it is very bright, and the ceilings are high. it has a pretty disgusting, non-descript gross colour carpet with a lovely burn where someone has left the iron on it, but that's ok cause i will throw a few rugs down. i am crap at arty kind of things, so any inspiration?

Oh boy, that's a hard one. Perhaps you should go take a look at those color charts where they sell paint. Maybe that will inspire you a bit?

Well, I found this. www.mycolour.co.nz/If you already know the color of the furnitures + carpet, you can get a preview of what the room will look like with different wall colors...

ah cheers stef, i have just spent hours of fun with this site! small things please small minds i guess. i think im gonna go with a blue-with-hints-of-green theme. Calm yet inviting.
jesus those things give me nightmares. my house just got refurbished and my mum got hundreds of those and was shoving them in my face going "what do you think? im thinking 'Tuscany Treasure' for the wall and a pale 'Oatmeal' for the ceiling, 'Pistachio Cream' and 'Biscotti' in my bedroom and 'Twighlight Cinders in the kitchen." agh mum i dont give a monkey's. and why the hell do paint colours always have such gay names?
