Dad slams Raul for wrecking Portillo's Real Madrid career

Javier Portillo's Dad has blasted Raul for blocking his son's career at Real Madrid.

Portillo is currently playing on-loan at Fiorentina and his Dad said yesterday: "Portillo didn't have to leave Real Madrid. He didn't want to. We never asked for money or for game time."

"That he has left is the fault of one person, the captain of the team (Raul), who did not let him play."

"Carlos Queiroz told me the people who were guilty of stopping Javier playing were Jorge Valdano and the captain."

"Raul was never interested in my son. He never helped him and did absolutely nothing for him."

Um, I actually think it's good Porti went to another club, coz he didn't get playing time. "we never asked for money or for game time", wtf is he saying? What's the point of spending all time on the bench. I doubt Raul has anything to do with that.

hmm, dunno anything abt portillos dad, but i do remember in a number of interviews porti said that raul, moro and hierro were his best friends at real, so ner, bugger of dad. his time will come. and he will get good experience. if you wanna blame someone blame blubbs, mr porti senior!
