I got this article - channel4.com "Juve look to Deschamps" Didier Deschamps has overtaken Cesare Prandelli in the race to become Juventus boss, insist reports in Italy. Whispers yesterday suggested that the Frenchman was back in the chase and that has been reflected in Thursday’s media coverage. Parma boss Prandelli was considered to be in pole position to replace Marcello Lippi but that is seemingly no longer the case. The Turin giants have allegedly held further talks with the former French midfielder to discuss a move. It’s been suggested that he has been offered a two-year deal worth £1m-a-season, plus guarantees that he can bring his assistant Jean Petit and fitness trainer Antonio Pintus to Turin. Possible transfer targets were also discussed with the possibility that striker Fernando Morientes, midfielder Jerome Rothen and defender Sebastien Squillaci may follow him from the Principality. [/color] Deschamps has supposedly asked for the club to not make an announcement until after his Monaco side have played in the Champions’ League Final against Porto. so... what do you think if the article is true...
