Gravesen linked with Everton return
Thomas Gravesen is being linked with a loan move back to Everton this summer.
The Danish international left Goodison Park for Real Madrid in a £2.7m deal in January, but Spanish reports suggest that he will be sent out on a season-long loan to make way for new midfield reinforcements.
Gravesen would probably only consider such a move if Everton qualified for the Champions League, and that has looked less and less likely since he left the club and their form dipped.
The Toffees would obviously be keen on such a deal, but there would be no shortage of interest in Gravesen if Real made him available and continued paying half his wages.
The Dane has proved popular with the Real fans since his arrival, but Fernando Morientes was also a fans' favourite and that did not stop him being shipped to Monaco on loan.
